Lightnings light up the sky and thunder fills the air. Cold saturates Meriel’s bones and she realizes the storm could catch them off guard any moment now. Despite the cataclysm that the elements are ready to unleash on them, she stays put and immobile beside him on the flat rock, ready to shelter him in any way she can because in that terrible, lonely moment he needs her more than anyone had ever needed her before.

    beautiful picture… and words.
I know it’s a different story, but suddenly notes slipped into my mind and I hear the song “…and the thunder rolls…”

yes, THAT one is a very good story, too…
sigh… Garth always sang of such great stories! the best part of country music, each song tells a different story, from beginning to end. well, most of them.

u c, I’m like that. whenever u give me a cd, a music that u value, it’s like a seed, it sure gonna grow roots and sprout at one point of my life but it might sleep for years in the soil of my iTunes library. There’s no point of urging me into the process: I’m sure gonna find it when I need it and can value it the most and it can bloom at its best. 🙂

A “Sundown” kérlek szépen, amikor meghallottam, a teljes lemezt, napokig rajta ültem… valami egészen csodálatos! A “Have a little faith” mindig megborzongat, a “No ordinary love” is, az “Always on my mind” is a kedvenceim között van!!!
